Dear yoga friends!
Iām so excited to share and practice some Hatha yoga with you! Happening this Sunday 22nd of September from 11:00 – 12:15 @ de Nieuwe Sint Jansstraat 35.
In this class we start with a easy Dirga Pranayama to prepare for a cleansing exercise called Prana Shakti Kriya. Then I will guide you through a dynamic asana practise. With earth and sun salutation. Continuing with asanas focused on opening the chest, arms and core strength. So we are prepared to practice asanas like shoulder stand and plough pose.
We will finish the class with some chanting (Om Mani Padme Hum) to let the vibrations of our voices relax our nervous systems so afterwards you can rest calmly in Savasana, guided by some live handpan tunes.
For this class you will need a yoga mat and comfortable clothes. We will use a yoga block during this class, if you have your own please bring it along and otherwise we have some spare to share. I Invite you to arrive 10 minutes early to set up your space. After class there is always the open invite to stay for tea and connect with your fellow yoga practitioners š§š¼ š« š§š¼āāļø
This class is suitable for all regardless of yoga experience, we welcome beginners and dedicated practitioners alike. The class is donation based, via cash or tikkie, and your donation supports the growth of our community. But also to retain the yoga space that we have now at the Nieuwe Sint Jansstraat. However, we encourage your participation even if donation is not possible for you right now.
